Standard Public Improvement Contract
Cascades Campus Mill Point
Building Remodel
The Oregon University System (OUS) is accepting sealed
bids for a public improvement project at Procurement and
Contract Services, Oregon State University, 644 SW 13th
Street, Corvallis, Oregon, until 2:00 PM Local Time,
March 6, 2012 for the Cascades Campus Mill Point Building
Remodel project located on the Cascades Campus of
Oregon State University, Bend, Oregon. The project includes
the remodel of the Mill Point Building 7000, approximately
27,000 square feet, for classrooms and
offices.
As a result of a prior RFQ, the Owner has pre-qualified
four prime contractors to bid this project. The pre-qualified
firms will be the only prime contractors permitted to submit
bids to the Owner. Those contractors are: CS Construction,
Fortis Construction, HSW Builders, and Kirby Nagelhout
Construction.
A mandatory examination of the site and conditions will
be made at 2:00 PM, February 15, 2012. Prime bidders
shall meet with the Owner's Representative at the Oregon
State University Cascades Campus, Mill Point Building
7000, 650 SW Columbia Street, Bend, OR. Attendance
will be documented through a sign-in sheet prepared by
the Owner’s Authorized Representative.

Bid packets may be examined at Procurement and Contract

Central Oregon Builders Exchange, Bend; Douglas

Reed Construction Data.
All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing
wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870.
All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's
Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will
be considered unless fully completed in the manner
provid¬ed in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid
Form provided and accom¬panied by Bid Security. OUS
encourages bids from Minority, Women, and Emerging
Small Businesses.
